New success stories of OpenERP implementations in Spain

Below I post the most relevant success stories that have started OpenERP at the end of 2009 and January 2010

About each one of them I am going to give you a brushstroke about how the project started and its evolution

  • Totenart: Online store for the sale of everything related to the artistic world (brushes, paints, varnishes, canvases). His manager Cesar and I do not know each other in person but we have been in contact for years, when we constantly coincide in the Oscommerce forums. Cesar started the project very cautiously. He did his own initial analysis in great detail and we approached the project calmly adapting to his availability. We spaced the training sessions over time, financed the adaptation of the POS extension and many improvements in the Oscommerce connector. It started in January, coinciding with the start of the new accounting year.
  • Mipuf: At the end of November, Francisco contacted me. It has a beanbag factory. He told me that they would take advantage of the implementation of OpenERP to review their internal processes and, if possible, streamline and improve them. His goal (almost impossible) is to start on January 1, 2010. Francisco, said that day … whatever it may be, we will get there. And we arrived. They did not start the one, but they did on January 10. It must be said that for their part they put all the effort and the means to have the master data uploaded at the start date and that Francisco and his team really took the training and the guidelines that were given to them seriously. A pleasure to start this project.
  • The Santander fish farm: Someday your manager will allow me to publish your name and between the two of us we will publish the full story. For now, it is still the Santander fish farm.:)
  • Grammata / Facthor: Importer of papyre (electronic book), a state-of-the-art product. With a young but very well trained staff, enthusiastic, involved, eager to learn and improve. With a focused project manager, looking to the future, enormous experience in other implementations and tools. A computer programmer with a vocation (one of those who “bite into the console”) but with an impressive functional base. Open to get the best out of OpenERP. An implantation somewhat different from the usual one. In a week of absolutely intensive face-to-face implementation, the project managers were able to assimilate the functionality of each area and focus on the entire project. Both the installation and the system updates are carried out by themselves.

Below I post the areas they have implemented, the links to their Portals and the companies that have participated in their implementation.
